Garcia-Garcia was driving east on E. Sherman Avenue around 12:30 a.m. on Sept. 27 when his car veered off the road into a wooded area, police said. The car hit a tree and overturned. His passenger, 37-year-old Keila Osoria-Garcia, of Wildwood, was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. Garcia-Garcia was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden with serious injuries following the crash, but was later released, investigators said.
