Mark A. Lauri, of South Brunswick, is charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of others and one count of criminal mischief for intentionally causing crashes between himself and other drivers, according to township police. “He became upset with another driver, eventually cut off the victim’s vehicle, then he slammed on his brakes, which caused the victim to impact the rear of Mr. Lauri’s vehicle,” police Chief Raymond Hayducka said in a statement.
About an hour later, officers were called to a Target store parking lot to investigate a crash that occurred earlier on the highway where Lauri had been brake-checking drivers, police said.
