Security personnel responded when a driver did not stop at the base entrance in northwest San Antonio.
Officials say security pursed the driver and took defensive measures when the driver attempted to exit the facility by using the inbound lane while traveling at a high rate of speed. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office and the San Antonio Police Department were notified of the incident and searched the area for the driver.
According to officials the entrance to JBSA-Camp Bullis was closed for a short time and the entrance and exit points were redirected to Gate 5 which is the Camp Stanley gate off Ralph Fair Road. No injuries or damage to the property was reported.
