One person is in custody after driving a car into a home across the street from one of the stations belonging to a local fire department, according to the fire chief.
VERMILION, Ohio - A suspected drunk driver is in custody after driving a car into a home across the street from one of the stations belonging to the Vermilion Fire Department, according to the fire chief.
Chief Bill Brown says the car crashed into the home, in the 300 block of Overlook Rd., around 11:36 p.m. Thursday, July 16.Chief Brown says the driver fled the scene and was arrested shortly after. Vermilion Police Capt. Jim Graham Says officers found the suspect in a nearby home and arrested him without incident.
The suspect, identified as 38-year-old Paul Carrion, was charged with OVI, reasonable control, obstructing official business and stopping after an accident involving damage to reality.
