A drink driver who drove into two police officers after downing a bottle of vodka was again caught drunk behind the wheel just months after being disqualified.
After receiving two calls, PC Sean Dalby and PC Paddy Stewart traced the car on the A59 in Ormskirk. He was found to be over the legal alcohol limit in England of 35 when a breathalyser reading recorded 74. An empty vodka bottle and a small amount of class A drugs were also found in the car.
