BillboardThe trippy, disorienting animated clip, created by Andrew William Ralph, takes cues from both Pink Floyd's"'Heat Seeker' is a song about searching for the truth, trying to find the right way through life," Dreamers frontman Nick Wold tells. "The animated video -- featuring the one and only Grandson -- is a sequel to the original live action one, and continues our journey through the cosmic door.
"In this crazy time of pandemic, I see an opportunity to really stop and evaluate what is truly important in life," Wold adds."What better time for us to realize how we worry so much about trivial things, and to think about how we should live, what we should value? In the end, no one can tell us who to be -- we each have to spend a life seeking to find the answers for ourselves.
"Heat Seeker" isn't the first time Dreamers and Grandson have collaborated. Last month, the pair teamed on the latter's song"Whole Lotta."'s Alternative Songs airplay chart, including two top 10s, led by the No. 7-peaking"Sweet Disaster" in 2017. Meanwhile, Grandson has appeared on the chart twice, along with a pair of entries onGet an exclusive first look at the new video below.
