Video footage captured the dramatic moment armed police descended on North Manchester General Hospital on Wednesday .
The Manchester Evening News understands that it was following threats made to staff by a man. Police were called to the scene as a precautionary measure.It is understood the man, who was having a mental health episode, was not arrested and police are no longer involved.
