A video shows a massive fire at a Christmas tree farm in Scotland. Emergency crews rushed to the scene and nearby residents were advised to close their windows and doors. No injuries have been reported.
Emergency crews raced to the facility at Tayside Forestry near Dundee after receiving reports of a fire on Saturday night. Four fire engines as well as a specialist height appliance were scrambled to the scene after the alarm was raised at 7.10pm.
Police also confirmed they were in attendance assisting the fire service with road closures. The clip shows red-hot flames burning through the farm and illuminating the night sky. Thick clouds of smoke can also be seen sweeping over the facility and onto nearby properties. Nearby residents were urged to close their windows and doors as firefighters battled the inferno.Scottish Fire and Rescue said: "We received an alert at 7.11pm of a fire near to Birkhill. Four fire appliances as well as a high-reach appliance have been dispatched.
"Crews are currently tackling the fire at an industrial unit. There are no reports of any injuries at this stage."
