If Francis Ngannou prevails over Anthony Joshua in Friday’s boxing match in Saudi Arabia, the iconic rapper Drake will receive a payout of more than $1.9 million. This will only be Ngannou’s second professional boxing match. He lost his first to Tyson Fury in October. But Ngannou did a lot of damage in that bout. In fact, many thought the former UFC champion got a raw deal in that split decision loss.
In October, Drake bet $850,000 on Logan Paul to beat Dillon Danis by knockout. Paul won – but he won by disqualification, not by a knockout. to beat the San Francisco 49ers. On his Instagram account, Drake posted, “I can’t bet against the Swifties.” In 2022, the rapper became an official partner with Stake, the cryptocurrency-friendly sports betting provider. And while Drake doesn’t always cash a winning ticket, Stake seems to have scored a winner with Drake, who’s bets always garner the attention coveted by marketing managers.
