The upcoming, highly anticipated Dragon Ball Daima was first announced during the Dragon Ball Special Panel at New York Comic Con 2023, and was given a likely release date of Fall 2024. In July, it was further confirmed that the anime would begin airing sometime in October.
First reported by Japanese news outlet, MANTANWEB, Fuji TV plans to create an all-new anime time slot for the network beginning with Dragon Ball Daima. The series will be broadcast every Friday at 11:40 pm, in stark contrast to Dragon Ball Super's original time slot on Sunday mornings. It was also reported that Yuichi Nakajima, general manager of Fuji TV, revealed that all episodes of the upcoming series have been completed prior to its airing.
The first episode will also come with an extended broadcast, meaning an extra 10 minutes are added to its runtime. While the Western distributor of Dragon Ball Daima has not yet been announced, fans speculate the series will air on Crunchyroll, alongside the rest of Dragon Ball's catalog.Dragon Ball DAIMA 0 Your Rating5 stars4.5 stars4 stars3.5 stars3 star2.5 stars2 stars1.5 stars1 stars0.
