Of course, Priestly's trademark sunglasses were also included, as was a replica of "the book," aka a mockup of the fictional magazine the character oversees. But it was Stone's short, gray wig and impeccable prothetic makeup that sealed the deal. The recreation of Priestly's signature hairstyle and Steep's facial structure was a painstaking process, all of which was documented in a YouTube video released by the drag artist.In the behind-the-scenes clip, Stone carefully lays the prosthetic pieces on her face before applying makeup over top. She puts on a corset before slipping into costume and attaching the wig.
