DR Mahathir Mohamad mendakwa Perdana Menteri Anwar Ibrahim sanggup berkompromi dengan DAP tentang hak orang Melayu kerana bimbang hilang kuasa. DAP mempunyai bilangan kerusi terbanyak di Dewan Rakyat berbanding parti komponen lain dalam Pakatan Harapan , justeru Anwar perlu sentiasa bersetuju dengan parti itu bagi mengelakkan hilang sokongan, kata bekas perdana menteri itu.
