DR Mahathir Mohamad said he resigned as prime minister in February as he had already “lost” the position when Bersatu left Pakatan Harapan. “Strictly speaking, when Bersatu left PH, PH ceased to be the government. This meant that all cabinet members lost their ministerial positions. This included me. I lost my position as prime minister.
