PETALING JAYA: Presiden Muda Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman menolak dakwaan bahawa parti itu mempunyai kaitan dengan bekas perdana menteri Dr Mahathir Mohamad. Dalam satu sidang media, Syed Saddiq berkata dakwaan itu adalah tidak benar dan Muda mahu “menjuarai politik tulen”. “Inilah masalah dengan politik lama. Apabila orang muda bersuara, mereka berkata kami menjawab kepada ahli politik lama yang membawa politik lama itu sendiri.

“Realitinya Muda mengangkat kepelbagaian. Kami mahu melihat disentralisasi kuasa dan masyarakat pelbagai bangsa sebenar dan Malaysia yang sederhana,” katanya.
