Dr M for Kemaman by-election? I’m not aware, says PAS veep

Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar says there is a possibility the party will retain Che Alias Hamid as its candidate.

There were rumours that PAS might field former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad instead of retaining Che Alias Hamid in the Kemaman by-election.

“I have not heard about the rumours ,” Samsuri said in a press conference.“There is a possibility . Anything can happen before the nomination day.” However, the Kuala Terengganu election court annulled the win last month after finding that the payment of i-Belia and i-Siswa aid to voters during the campaign period constituted bribery.
