NSTnation: Penang Health Committee chairman Dr Afif Bahardin has submitted his resignation as a state executive council member today.
This was confirmed by Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow at a press conference after chairing the weekly state executive council meeting.
Chow said Dr Afif met him at 8.15am today, prior to the state executive council meeting, to inform him about the matter.“After that, he told me that he wished to resign as a state executive council member effective today.Chow said he tabled Dr Afif’s resignation letter during the state executive council meeting this morning and it was accepted by all the state executive councillors.
