BREAKING: Dozens of firefighters battling ‘severe’ blaze at London bakery
Dozens of firefighters are battling a huge blaze which has broken out in a bakery and restaurant in northwest London.
The London Fire Brigade said they have received more than 50 calls about the blaze began at around 6pm beneath a row of flats on Minerva Road, in Park Royal.A spokesperson said: ‘This is a severe and highly visible fire with our 999 Control taking over 50 calls.‘There is a lot of thick black smoke in the area and we’d ask local residents to close their doors and windows.’Smoke could be seen billowing from across the Thames as far away as Walthamstow, in northeast London.
