A dozen people were injured Saturday night after a partial collapse of bleachers during the Kendall County Fair in south Texas.
"They were doing the bronco ride. And one had just stopped, and so the another one was about to come out, and then you hear this loud bang, and it was still, like the whole top just kind of went, collapsed," explained April Cleghorn, who witnessed the collapse.
It was 9:17 p.m. Saturday when local first responders were dispatched to the fairgrounds, located in the 1300 block of River Road for reports of the partial collapse of a seating area at the rodeo arena. Multiple agencies immediately responded to the scene, where scores of people had been enjoying an evening at a fair there before the incident.
