The fight against COVID-19 continues, and the beauty industry is indeed stepping up to help all those affected.

The latest joining in this endeavor is skin-care brand Dove, which is rolling out one of the biggest donations to date. In a partnership with Vaseline, Dove announced that it will donate $2 million to humanitarian aid organizationto help get personal protective equipment , ventilators, and medicine to health care workers.

"We are deeply saddened by the terrible impact that coronavirus is wreaking on lives and livelihoods everywhere. The world is facing its greatest trial in decades. We have seen the most incredible response from the Unilever team so far, especially those on the front line of our operations in factories, distribution centers, and stores," writes CEO of Unilever , Alan Jope,on the brand's site.

Dove will also be working with Direct Relief to donate additional personal care products such as soap and hand sanitizer to hospitals and health care centers all over the U.S. and also plans to donate to local hospitals in New Jersey, where the brand is based. These initiatives are just a few of the many that the brand has planned to help those who have been affected by COVID-19.
