Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff's reaction to his wife, Vice President Kamala Harris coming on stage at the Democratic National Convention went viral on social media.Harris was expected to attend the DNC on Monday for President Joe Biden's speech, but she surprised everyone by showing up on stage to give brief remarks to attendees. Harris is expected to formally accept the nomination in a speech on Thursday, after winning enough delegates to become the nominee.
Harris kept her remarks short, only speaking for about two minutes. She expressed her excitement at being at the convention and kept the beginning of her remarks about Biden.'Joe, thank you for your historic leadership, for your lifetime of service to our nation, and for all you will continue to do,' Harris said. 'We are forever grateful to you.
