Abdoulaye Doucoure was speaking following Everton's Premier League draw with Brighton at Goodison Park
Abdoulaye Doucoure believes his Everton side were on the end of some 'awful' decisions against Brighton & Hove Albion and has revealed he won’t be taking part in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.
But it was another incident midway through the first-half that left Doucoure angered. Calvert-Lewin was hacked down by Lewis Dunk on the edge of the box, but instead of referee Tim Robinson allowing play to go on with Doucoure through on goal, he blew for the foul and awarded a free-kick, which was smashed over by James Garner.
“I don’t know why, because I was alone, and it was a very big chance, to be honest. Some day some awful decision , I think." Asked if he had made a decision on whether he was going to play in the tournament, Doucoure replied: “No, at the moment, I don’t think I’m going to make the Africa Nations Cup, to be honest.
Before he added on his new deal: “I’ve been in tough moments, to be honest. It was very hard for me, but I never give up.
