Dothan High School's boys basketball team secured an undefeated record in Class 7A , Area 3 play after defeating J.A.G. 72-53 in Montgomery on Thursday. The No. 4 ranked Wolves improved their overall record to 24-2 with the win. Dothan was led by Diggy Coleman, who contributed 21 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. Bryson Berry followed closely with 18 points, six rebounds, and a remarkable 10 assists.
Jordan Rollins and Tristinn Johnson both added seven points to the team's score, with Johnson also securing seven rebounds. In another Class 7A matchup, the No. 8 ranked Enterprise Wildcats dominated Eufaula, securing a convincing 72-19 victory. Ty Bryant led the Wildcats with 17 points, while Aidan Williams chipped in with 11. This win pushed Enterprise's record to 17-6, while Eufaula fell to 8-14. Rehobeth High School took down Daleville 71-40, led by Elijah Holmes and Caden Wright, who each scored 11 points. Cole Wright added 10 points to Rehobeth's total, while Elijah Bandy led Daleville with 12 points. Slocomb High School routed Emmanuel Christian 67-13, with Cade Hodges and Brayden Hughes both scoring 17 points and Preston Mesey adding 12. Hunter Scott led Emmanuel Christian with seven points.Malone High School (Fla.) emerged victorious against Northside Methodist, winning 68-37. Ethan Williams and Kyle Kirchhoff both contributed 11 points for Malone. Kirchhoff also dominated the boards with 10 rebounds, while Williams pulled down six. Kingston Whaley added eight points to the Knights' score. Opp High School secured a win against New Brockton in two consecutive games. On Wednesday, Opp won 55-51, led by DJ Hines with 23 points, 15 rebounds, five steals, and five assists. Zane Martin added nine points to the team's score. In the JV game, Opp defeated New Brockton 40-33, led by Parker Burgess with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Brandyn Washington contributed 11 points and six rebounds to Opp's victory. This win marked Opp's second-most wins in JV boys basketball history.
