A Dothan man was arrested over the weekend after he beat a child with a pistol, police said on Monday.
DOTHAN, Ala. -
On Saturday, Dothan Police investigators arrested Allen Terell Jackson at his home in Dothan after it was reported that he hit a child “under the age of 16″ after he found the girl in her bedroom with a boy.Police said Jackson beat the girl with his fists before he retrieved two firearms, one of which was a pistol.After the assault, Jackson then forced the girl and the boy to leave the home.
Jackson was charged with one count of Willful Abuse of a Child and is held in the Houston County Jail on a $15,000 bond.and receive the latest local news and weather straight to your email every morning.
