DOTHAN, Ala. - The IHOP on Ross Clark Circle reopened its doors Tuesday morning, marking a new beginning after the location shut down in the fall of 2024.Under new management, the location has reopened, bringing both new jobs and customers to the area.
New franchisee Amanda Schmakel could not comment on the reason for the 2024 shutdown, but she said she’s excited to welcome customers back. “It’s really great. It’s been a very good day. We’ve got a great team,” Schmakel said. “Everybody’s in good spirits. I’ve heard some really good things today. People are really excited that we’re back, and happy for that.”No reason was given for the closure, though construction on Ross Clark Circle affected other businesses in the area.
