Millions of donuts and various similar baked goods were recalled for listeria concerns.
FGF Brands has issued a recall with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for dozens of donut products that were distributed throughout the U.S. and Canada. The products were all recalled for potential listeria contamination. The recall alert was first issued on Jan. 7, 2025, and was updated on Feb. 7, 2025. The recall involves any of the items listed "within expiration produced 12/13/2024 and prior" according to the FDA.
It’s unclear if any of the products are still available for sale. FOX Television Stations has reached out to FGF Brands for more information. The recall alert is listed as a Class 2, which means exposure to an affected product may cause "temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences." A listeria infection can cause unpleasant symptoms, and is especially risky for older Americans, pregnant women and consumers with weakened immune systems.
