Heyward has a bad case of the flu and did not practice, but should play on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Steelers got some good news in the opposite direction. Cornerback Donte Jackson was a full participant after missing last week’s game against the Bengals with a pinched nerve in his back. Jackson is optimistic that he will play. So is rookie guard Mason McCormick. McCormick has a broken left hand that will need time to heal this offseason, but the injury right now is about pain tolerance and mobility. The team will fit a brace on him and test out to see how his functionality is moving forward. Tight end MyCole Pruitt was limited with a knee injury that has lingered this year. The team is managing that injury weekly. Meanwhile, all of Roman Wilson, Cole Holcomb, Logan Lee, and Calvin Anderson, who are trying to return to the team, were full participants on Tuesday
