The world Guerrero references is the one where women radiate—in this world, they are seen in the light they want to be portrayed. “I always felt like I was a really creative person, but I didn’t know how to handle that strength or that force because I felt I was quite clumsy with everything I tried,” shared Guerrero. “But then my friend gave me my first camera. The first time I developed with film, it made me fall in love with that language and form of expression.
Por medio de una obra multimedia, trastoca la narrativa imperante en la manera de retratar a las mujeres a través de imágenes. “Me di cuenta de que no existían mujeres fotógrafas. Estaba en shock y sentí la responsabilidad de explorar este nuevo mundo”, comenta.El mundo al que hace referencia Guerrero es aquel en el que las mujeres irradian luz propia, un lugar donde son vistas a través del cristal con el que quieren ser retratadas.
