Convicted felon Donald Trump would be welcome in Scotland if he wins the US presidency, according to the SNP’s Westminster leader.
Trump’s latest White House bid suffered a blow after he was found guilty of 34 counts of falsifying records in an effort to keep an adult film star quiet about an affair that occurred in the 2000s. In an interview with ITV, Flynn, who is seeking re-election to Westminster on July 4th, was asked if Trump would be welcome in Scotland if he wins in November.Trump has extensive business interests in Scotland, including a golf course in Aberdeenshire which opened in 2012.Green MSP Ross Greer said: “I could be wrong but did Stephen Flynn just say Donald Trump would be welcome in Scotland if he won the US election?
