“You can watch it on television,” Trump, 79, said while meeting with reporters on Friday, June “He is a friend. I’ve known him for 30 years and I’m very proud to bring the team to the White House,” he said.during the June 8 game between the Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs, which marked the Spurs’ only victory over the Knicks in the NBA Finals.
“It was, I think, mostly cheers,” Trump later told reporters.
