Donald Trump's new TikTok account has more than quintuple the number of followers than President Joe Biden's account, with the rapid growth in followers coming just hours after the former president launched his debut video.'The President is now on TikTok,' Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White said as the opener to the 13-second TikTok video posted on a verified account, @realDonaldTrump.
In April, Biden signed a law requiring ByteDance to sell TikTok within a year or face a ban in the U.S. However, TikTok and ByteDance filed a federal lawsuit last month seeking to block the newly passed law.Trump joined the social media platform on Saturday night, just two days after he was convicted in his New York hush money trial.
