President Donald Trump ahead of pardoning a turkey for Thanksgiving 2025
President Donald Trump's war against late-night hosts rages on as he takes another jab at Stephen Colbert. The President of the United States took to social media to insult Colbert's ratings and talent.
He even went as far as to say that the TV personality should be put to sleep by CBS before The Late Show had even come to a close. Trump stated that this would be the most humane thing for the network to do, as he believes Colbert's career will be over after his last show in May 2026. Stephen Colbert is a pathetic trainwreck, with no talent or anything else necessary for show business success. Now, after being terminated by CBS, but left out to dry, he has actually gotten worse, along with his nonexistent ratings. Stephen is running on hatred and fumes ~ A dead man walking! CBS should, “put him to sleep,” NOW, it is the humanitarian thing to do! After his attack on Colbert, Trump went after the other two networks that air late-night shows that don't have many, if any, nice things to say about him, NBC and ABC. NBC is the home of Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers. The president once threatened to cancel the former and called the latter a deranged lunatic. ABC recently renewed Jimmy Kimmel Live! despite his cancellation earlier this year, and, it appears that Trump is not very happy with that decision. He also added that they were all overpaid, too. Trump continued his midnight rant by saying that since all of these programs are attacking him, MAGA, and Republicans, the broadcast licenses of those who choose to feature them should be revoked. While the president is correct that these TV personalities make it clear that they dislike him, many people, including Republicans, believe that they don't deserve to have their freedom of speech taken away. Even Senator Tom Cruz, who absolutely despised Kimmel, stood up for him. He stated that while he was happy that he was off the air, he didn't agree with the reason why he got pulled. However, Trump does not share his fellow Republican's point of view. Instead, he implied that anyone who disliked him and his political party should not be allowed to continue to air their work. If Network NEWSCASTS, and their Late Night Shows, are almost 100% Negative to President Donald J.
