President Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, were met with a chorus of boos at Game 5 of the World Series on Sunday night at Washington’s Nationals Park.

Politicians at baseball games often throw out the first pitch for some easy goodwill, but Trump wasn’t in the running for the honor, according to Washington Nationals principal owner Mark Lerner, who: “The first pitches are our call, and we felt there are many other candidates that should be considered before [Trump].”
