It is currently unknown if the president will go ahead with Friday's rally.Hicks started to feel mild symptoms on Wednesday's plane ride back to Washington, D.C. from the president's Minnesota campaign rally, according to the Associated Press. On that flight, Hicks was kept away from others, an administration official told the AP. Prior to feeling symptoms, Hicks also attended Tuesday's presidential debate in Cleveland.'s show Thursday evening. He confirmed to the host that he had just taken a test, but had not heard the results. The results are expected to be available either Thursday night or Friday morning, according to the AP. "We mourn for all of those who lost a loved one, and in their memory, we will defeat the virus. Through advances in treatment, we have reduced the fatality rate by 85 percent since just April. We are on track to develop and distribute a vaccine before the end of the year, and maybe substantially before. And I just want to say that the end of the pandemic is in sight, and next year will be one of the greatest years in the history of our country," Trump said at the dinner.
