The Fulton County Sheriff's Office is investigating threats to members of the grand jury that indicted former President Donald Trump this week.
The office said in a press release on Wednesday that it is aware of grand jurors' personal information, such as names and addresses, being circulated across"various platforms."The county's sheriff's office is working closely with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to determine the"origin of threats" in Fulton County and other jurisdictions.
The jurors voted to indict Trump on Monday after a yearlong investigation by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Of the 41-count indictment, the former president faces 13 charges, including violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act and conspiring to use fake electors to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia.
