Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office is arguing that the payment was an attempt to interfere with the presidential election. Trump has pleaded not guilty and denied Daniels' allegations. He has continued to call for the case to be thrown away while criticizing Judge Juan Merchan, who is presiding over the case.If Trump is found guilty in the case, he could face prison time. Jury deliberations are currently taking place after they were unable to reach a verdict on Wednesday.
