Recent polls in North Carolina, Utah, Arizona, Minnesota and Georgia show the two candidates are virtually tied.
HighGround conducted an Arizona poll, released Tuesday, that shows 47 percent of 400 likely voters would choose Biden, while 45 percent would cast their ballot for Trump. The poll also showed that 29.3 percent of voters blame Trump for the spread of the novel coronavirus in the United States and 20.3 percent blame China, while 25.3 percent said they either blame no one or don't know whom to blame. The poll had a margin of error of plus or minus 4.9 percent.
Civiqs conducted a poll in Georgia, released May 19, that said 48 percent of 1,339 likely voters would choose Biden, while 47 percent would cast a ballot for Trump. The survey also found that 54 percent of voters have an unfavorable view of Biden, while 40 percent have a favorable view. The president fared better in his favorability rating, as 47 percent said they had a favorable view of the president and 51 percent had an unfavorable view. That poll had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.
