Allies are killing each other in Baldur's Gate 3.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Party deaths in Baldur’s Gate 3 may occur on occasion, especially considering how luck with die rolls play a part in the gameplay. In fact, this is why it is so common for players to save scum in Baldur’s Gate 3 – the system can help players avoid undesirable outcomes in their encounters, either through combat or dialogue.
Regardless of using save scumming or not, there is a constant mechanic at play which may set players back: party deaths in Baldur’s Gate 3. These can happen at any given time, mainly through tough combat sequences or purely bad rolls on dice, but they can also happen due to unforeseen circumstances involving co-op mode in Baldur’s Gate 3. It seems like not only opponents, but even allies are killing party members – and the percentage of this happening is fairly large.
Other Stats About Baldur’s Gate 3 Player Behavior Aside from the statistics behind party deaths in Baldur’s Gate 3, Larian Studios also shared a variety of other stats regarding player behavior in the new turn-based RPG. For instance, only 368 players in the entire world were able to complete the game during its opening weekend. Larian also studied how players customize their characters: a combined 88 years was spent in character creation.
Another set of fun stats shared by the studio shows that while Gale is the most popular played Origin character, he is the seventh main cause of death for players – which is likely calculated into the 12% of party deaths in Baldur’s Gate 3 caused by friendly fire. The new RPG is now available for PC and will release for PlayStation 5 on September 6. There are talks about an Xbox version of Baldur’s Gate 3, though some technical issues may prevent it from being released at all.
