Here in the great Pacific Northwest, we’re no stranger to cloudy days, especially once football season kicks off and that fall weather settles in. Even if you’re just like me and crave the perpetual rain and gray skies, sometimes we need a gentle reminder that every cloud has a silver lining. Introducing Don’t Trip. In this new weekly column, I reflect upon the events of the previous week, take in some of the negatives and shine a positive light on the situation.
Fast forward to Monday afternoon, we would finally get word that his official injury was an MCL sprain, expected to sideline him up to six weeks. Okay, here’s where I take the negative thing and spin it into a positive. The team seems confident enough that the injury isn’t serious enough to put Nwosu on IR, and with the September 8th season opener at home against the Denver Broncos still another week away, the best case scenario is that Nwosu doesn’t miss any time at all.
