Apple’s “Wonderlust” event is happening on Tuesday, September 15 and the company is expected to announce new iPhone and Apple Watch models.
When will the Apple Store refresh?
Waiting is the hardest part and timing your purchase can be tricky. There’s no official cadence to when Apple adds devices to their official refurbished store but I’ve seen new inventory drop anywhere from on the day of device announcements to when they officially go on sale. So if you want to get the most Apple hardware for your money, you’ll want to start checking the store page immediately after the event and then check back daily for a week.If you don’t feel like playing the waiting game with Apple, major retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and Amazon have their current inventory on deep discount. Some discounts are as good as 50%. That said, they’ll drop those prices even more after the new phones and watches are announced.
If you want the new iPhone 15 Pro Max, you’ll want to make sure you get your pre-order in as soon as possible. Rumors are that it’ll have the least amount of inventory at launch due to component shortages. Apple Watches, you should be able to get whatever model you like. Those will start shipping about a week before the iPhone 15. Though the top-end Ultra model may lag behind by a few weeks if history is any indicator.
