KUALA LUMPUR: Members of Parliament have been warned not to launch attacks on the Dewan Rakyat Speaker or his deputies.
"But don't attack the Speaker or my deputies. We are here to ensure whatever is requested by the government of the day is resolved.
Johari said Muar MP Syed Saddiq's earlier statement that the Speaker rejecting his motion to debate the littoral combat ship issue was unfair. "In paragraph four of my letter to Muar regarding his motion, it was clearly stated that the motion did not abide by Rule 87C as I was informed that the Defence Ministry was required to present LCS progress reports to the Public Accounts Committee every three months until the project is completed.
