He was arrested two times in our relationship," Hackford said. "And in my mind I thought, 'He has to know what he did was wrong; he's going to learn.' So, I wanted to believe that. Separate yourself from someone who makes you think that you cant because the second that you believe you can — it will change and it will be better," she said.
To hear that terror in their voice and then to have to tell them 'I am sorry we have no room for you we cant do anything, do you have family or friends' and so many times they say I am new here, I have no where to go and you still have to tell them 'no'.
