The Shamrocks rallied past the Crusaders for an opening day win on Tuesday.
Down 4-1 after four innings, Trinity baseball piled on five runs in the fifth to come out with an 8-5 win over Bishop McDevitt on opening day of its season Tuesday.Dom Haas earned the win on the bump for the Shamrocks, fanning three between four hits surrendered and four runs allowed over five innings.
Gavin Myers led Trinity at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Mark Capp plated three runs and two RBIs as well. Preston Groff drove in three and Garreth Calder added a run and two RBIs.
