Over 100,000 local and overseas employment opportunities are up for grabs in the ‘Araw ng Kalayaan’ job fairs in 43 sites nationwide, in celebration of the 126th anniversary of the Philippine Independence on June 12, the Department of Labor and Employment said.
The top vacancies are production worker/operator; customer service representative; cashier, bagger, sales clerk; laborer, carpenter, painter; and service crew, cook, waiter and server. The labor department also noted that most job fairs will be conducted in malls for the convenience of applicants and employers.
