Doja Cat is the fourth woman to top Hot 100 Songwriters this year, following Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift. Five women led in all of 2020: Swift, Jessica Agombar, Megan Thee Stallion, Stevie Nicks and Tones and I.Doja Cat also adds a second week at No. 1 on the Oct. 23-dated chart. On the Hot 100 Producers chart, Dan Nigro tallies a record-extending 26th week at No. 1, thanks to his production on Rodrigo's"Good 4 U" ,"Traitor" and"Deja Vu" . He co-produced"Good" with Alexander 23 and solely produced the latter two hits.
The weekly Hot 100 Songwriters and Hot 100 Producers charts are based on total points accrued by a songwriter and producer, respectively, for each attributed song that appears on the Hot 100; plus, genre-based songwriter and producer charts follow the same methodology based on corresponding"Hot"-named genre charts. As with Billboard's yearly recaps, multiple writers or producers split points for each song equally .
