Chicago DEA agents seized more than 441,000 fentanyl pills in four months this summer as overdose deaths attributed to fentanyl grow nationwide.
Senior DOJ officials pointed the finger squarely at the Mexican drug cartels for trafficking in the pills. One other issue they are particularly concerned about is rainbow fentanyl in particular it is "largely driven by marketing."
