DOJ re-opens preliminary investigation on raps vs Pimentel following NBI’s submission of probe report

The Department of Justice has re-opened the preliminary investigation on the complaint filed against Senator Aquilino Martin “Koko” Pimentel III after the National Bureau of Investigation finally submitted the findings of its investigation on his alleged quarantine violations.

“Failure on the part of the parties to submit comment in compliance with this Order shall be considered as waiver and the case is submitted for resolution thereafter,” the prosecutor warned. The prosecutor said the NBI sought that its submission be consolidated to the “records with the conduct of preliminary investigation by this office.”

“I would like to thank Makati Medical Center for its courage to ferret out the truth. VIP Koko no way out of this mess but to man up. DOJ, your move. The people deserve to know the truth now. Justice delayed is justice denied,” read his latest Facebook post.
