The chemicals stemmed from an Iranian missile attack on a US airbase in Iraq.

The U.S. Department of Justice has denied soldiers the ability to sue after they were exposed to toxic chemicals in an Iranian missile strike, independent investigative journalist Catherine Herridge told The National News Desk Thursday.

Several service members suffered health complications following attack and filed suit against Iran. They were blocked by the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, a federal law which limits citizens from suing foreign nation states. “It means that the courts have found-- and the Biden Harris administration's Justice Department-- that there has to be a killing, which seems to minimize the suffering and the injuries of these soldiers who were attacked at Al-Asad in Iraq,” Herridge said. “I don't like to speculate, but the question that was raised repeatedly with me is whether there's some political calculation here.
