The Department of Health (DOH) Regional Office, based in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, released an updated tally of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in the region through the Central Luzon Center for Health Development.
Tally released on May 24 marked a total of 265 recoveries from the 553 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19. The numbers showed that half of the population of confirmed cases have overcome the disease.
All positive cases from repatriated overseas Filipino workers from Diamond Princess Cruise ship and Grand Princess Cruise ship have all recovered.have also recovered. A total of 119 patients were discharged and were mandated to complete the 14-day quarantine, while 110 were still admitted in various hospitals in the region.
