The Department of Health (DOH) on Tuesday logged 174 new COVID-19 cases even as the active tally decreased to 12,362.
The number of active infections went down fromThe National Capital Region had the most cases in the last two weeks, with 2,906, followed by Calabarzon with 1,386, Central Luzon with 664, Western Visayas with 364, and Cagayan Valley with 287.
The recovery tally rose to 4,122,428 while the death toll increased to 65,435 with 20 new fatalities.As of Monday, the national bed occupancy rate was 17.9%, with 4,865 occupied and 22,338 vacant beds. —
