She took off in 2020 with the release of her viral hit, “Yucky Blucky Fruitcake,” a track that instantly made the rounds on TikTok.
"We are always looking to amplify the next slate of rising stars,” says Sydney Lopes, Head of Hip Hop and R&B Partnerships at Spotify. “With Doechii as our latest RADAR US artist, we can take our support to the next level. Since 2020, we saw her burst onto the scene with her single "Yucky Blucky Fruitcake" and have since watched her organically build a fan base.
It just takes you being yourself to stand out. Honestly, that's a really generic answer, but I'm not even observing it. I don't know what it would take for y'all to stand out. I'm just being me.
